Madisonville Man Charged with Engaging in Organized Crime

A Madisonville man was arrested Tuesday night on an outstanding felony warrant

Madisonville Police report an officer went to a South Kentucky Avenue residence to serve the warrant on 26-year old De’Angelique McRath and upon arrival observed suspicious activity, including people entering the home and a vehicle pulling into the driveway twice. Police warned the people inside the home that that anyone assisting McRath would face charges for hindering prosecution.

According to police, Seva McGriff was seen running from the home, getting into a vehicle and then driving away at a high rate of speed.. When she was stopped by police, officers said McGriff claimed she was rushing to a family member’s residence. Meanwhile, police said Talashiea Martin and McRath attempted to leave in another vehicle but were stopped and arrested.

McRath was served the warrant charging him with engaging in organized crime, while McGriff and Martin were charged with hindering prosecution or apprehension. All three subjects were taken to the Hopkins County Detention Center.
