Mayor Kevin Cotton has proclaimed the week of October 21-25 as Kentucky Professional Businesswomen Week in the City of Madisonville.
At Monday night’s City Council meeting, Mayor Cotton presented the proclamation that included some data about professional businesswomen.

click to download audioSince 1928, the proclamation states that the Business and Professional Women’s Foundation has recognized the contributions of working women and supportive employers. Similarly, since 1954, Mayor Cotton acknowledged these efforts in Hopkins County. He then declared October 21-25 as Kentucky Professional Businesswomen Week.
