In honor of Veterans Day, the City of Madisonville has announced several schedule changes, including the closure of city offices and adjustments to the sanitation department’s trash and recycling services.
According to officials, the City offices will be closed on Monday, November 11, and will resume normal hours on Tuesday, November 12.
In addition, city officials have released the Veterans Day trash and recycling schedule. In observance of the holiday, the Sanitation Department will be closed on Monday, November 11. During the week of November 11, all trash and recycling routes will operate on a one-day delay: Monday’s routes will run on Tuesday, Tuesday’s routes on Wednesday, Wednesday’s routes on Thursday, Thursday’s routes on Friday, and Friday’s routes on Saturday.

City officials also extended their heartfelt gratitude to all Veterans, thanking them for their service.
