Hopkins County Sees Over 6,300 Early Votes Cast

Voter turnout was robust during early voting in Hopkins County on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday.

As of Saturday, County Clerk Keenan Cloern reported a 19% turnout, including absentee voting.

According to Cloern, 1,885 voters cast their ballots on Saturday, 2,306 voted on Friday, and 2,153 voters marked their ballots on Thursday, bringing the total number of early votes to 6,344.

Following three days of early voting, polling stations throughout Kentucky were closed on Sunday and will remain closed on Monday.

On Election Day, Tuesday, Cloern said registered voters can cast their ballots at any of the 15 polling locations.
