Get ready to embrace the holiday spirit as the City of Dawson Springs hosts its traditional Christmas Parade this weekend.
After last Sunday’s old-fashioned Horse-Drawn Christmas Parade in Dawson, Mayor Jenny Sewell extended an invitation to everyone for this Sunday’s traditional Christmas parade, set to begin at 5:30 in the evening.

Meanwhile, the Dawson Springs Police Department has announced East Arcadia Avenue, Hunter Street, Railroad Avenue, and South Main Street will close shortly before the parade begins and will reopen after it concludes. Officials request that Railroad Avenue and South Main remain free of parked vehicles along the sides of the road to ensure clear views for parade spectators.
