Drivers need to be aware the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet plans a lane restriction on the northbound side of Interstate 69 in Webster County on Wednesday to allow for tree trimming operations along the roadside.
According to state transportation officials, the right lane of I-69 northbound will be blocked at the 127-mile marker, located about a mile north of Exit 126 to KY 138 at Slaughters.
Although one lane of the interstate will remain open, officials noted that motorists wishing to self-detour around the work zone can take KY 138 to U.S. 41 and follow the highway north to Sebree. At Sebree, motorists can use KY 56 to return to the interstate.
