The Madisonville Noon Kiwanis Christmas Parade is set to light up the streets this Saturday at 5:00 PM, prompting local police to issue a traffic alert and parking guidelines for spectators.
The Madisonville Police Department has announced that the parade will travel along East North Street, make a turn onto Main Street, and end on McCoy Avenue. According to police, streets intersecting Main Street between East North Street and McCoy Avenue will be closed for the duration of the parade.
Police are requesting that spectators plan their parking accordingly to keep the parade route clear. They ask that no vehicles be parked in the spaces on Main Street from Arch Street to Broadway, as this will ensure safety and enhance the viewing experience of the parade participants.
