Madisonville Honors City Attorney Joe Evans, III for 30 Years of Service Ahead of Retirement

At last week’s Madisonville City Council meeting, Mayor Kevin Cotton honored City Attorney Joe Evans, III with a plaque, celebrating his impending retirement and three decades of dedicated service to the community.

Mayor Cotton expressed his gratitude for Evans’ dedicated service throughout his tenure.

click to download audioFormer Mayors Phil Terry and Karen Cunningham also shared some words with the city council about Evans’ service as city attorney and their appreciation for his three decades of service.

Evans expressed his gratitude to Terry and Cunningham for their remarks, noting that it has been an achievement to serve as city attorney under five different mayors, each with their own unique management style.
