Three Madisonville residents were injured in a two-vehicle collision at the intersection of Park Avenue and East Broadway Street Sunday.
Madisonville Police reported the wreck occurred when 31-year-old Taylor Copple was traveling west on East Broadway Street and disregarded a traffic signal and struck an SUV driven by 47-year-old Jennifer Brainard who was northbound on Park Avenue. Police said that the collision caused Copple’s car to come to a stop in the front yard of 661 East Broadway Street, while Brainard’s vehicle crashed into an unoccupied home at the same address.
Both drivers and a 17-year-old juvenile were transported by Medical Center Ambulance Service to Baptist Health Deaconess Madisonville for suspected injuries.
