In order to help Kentucky’s business community stay ahead in a changing economy, the Kentucky Chamber has launched a new “State of the Economy” dashboard—tracking key trends that impact both the Commonwealth and the nation.

Each month, Dr. Charles Aull, Vice President of Policy for the Kentucky Chamber, will also deliver a concise five-point update covering job growth, layoffs, hiring rates, unemployment, national inflation, and consumer and small business sentiment.

In a written statement, Aull said new tariffs and global trade shifts could “shape the economy,” but that it takes time for those effects to show up in the data. And that’s why, he added, this tool is being offered—to help business leaders and policymakers track the real indicators of economic health.

The dashboard draws from trusted sources including the U.S. Department of Labor, Bureau of Economic Analysis, University of Michigan, Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis, and U.S. Chamber of Commerce. All data is analyzed by the Kentucky Chamber Center for Policy and Research.
