A young lady from southern Maryland, who moved to Nashville to pursue her passion for songwriting and country music, will be performing along with some of her friends in Dawson Springs Friday evening.
Nineteen-year-old Kaitlyn Croker discovered her passion for songwriting during a drive with her mom in Maryland when Tim McGraw’s song “Don’t Take the Girl” played on the radio. Her mom encouraged her to listen to the song’s powerful story, which Croker said sparked her love for songwriting and country music.
