The Hopkins County Grand Jury issued a series of indictments from its January session, including on charges of wanton endangerment and assault of a law enforcement officer.
Malik Davis of Dawson Springs was indicted on charges of first-degree wanton endangerment of a police officer, operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol – a fourth offense with aggravators, along with multiple misdemeanors and violations. The charges stem from December 28, 2024, which was investigated by Madisonville Police.
A true bill was returned on Henry Negrin-Bolanos of Miami, Florida on charges of third-degree assault of a police officer or a detention officer, and second-degree persistent felony offender from an incident on November 1, 2024, investigated by the Hopkins County Sheriff’s Office.
Michael Sullivan of Madisonville was indicted on charges of third-degree assault of a police officer of detention officer and two misdemeanor charges from an incident that occurred on December 14, 2024, investigated by Madisonville Police.
James McCardle of Madisonville was indicted on two counts of first-degree wanton endangerment, second-degree persistent felony offender and a misdemeanor offense from an incident on November 4, 2024, investigated by the Madisonville Police Department.
